Ms. Claudia Delgado presented on the Ocean Teacher Global Academy at a Pre-Assembly webinar entitled 'Towards Building Ocean Science Capacity: the IOC Capacity Development Strategy, Recent Actions and Updates' held on 7 June, 2021. As an important component of the IOC Capacity Development Strategy, OTGA supports its implementation in several aspects and contributes to the UN SDGs by facilitating relevant training activities focusing on the conservation and sustainable management of ocean and marine resources, especially addressing and facilitating training activities and other capacity development activities within the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
