During its 29th Session, the IOC Assembly adopted Decision IOC-XXIX/10.1 establishing the IOC Group of Experts on Capacity Development. In this regard, the Assembly referred to its adoption of the IOC Capacity Development Strategy (2015-2021) which was published in 2015 as IOC/INF-1332. The main objectives of the Group of Experts are to assist the global and regional programmes with the implementation of capacity development (CD) needs assessments, the development of related work plans, mobilization of resources, and provide advice on relevant methods and tools to deliver CD.
